Too much lemon juice?

Suffered from IBS for 40 years. Can too much fresh squeezed lemon juice cause stomach pain?

I freshly squeeze 2 lemons each morning and have in 3 C. of water.

I had the worst stomach pain yesterday after drinking it and did not eat anything around or during that time???

RESPONSE:

I think drinking the fresh-squeezed juice of 2 lemons in 3 cups of water is too strong of a dilution for daily use for most people.

You can read more about how much and how often to drink lemon water on the following page.

We are in our sixties and in very good healthwell, better health now that we drink about 2 liters plus of water each day.
