About Us

Nancy Hearn is a Certified Nutrition Consultant (CNC), certified YogaFit instructor and hydration specialist. She has a deep appreciation for water and all of its health benefits and life-giving properties.

When Nancy started health and nutrition consulting in 2001, she quickly learned the importance of hydration. She discovered that many of her clients had symptoms of chronic dehydration.

Thus, proper hydration became the foundation of her individualized health protocols with significant results.

She owned and managed Total Wellness Health and Nutrition Center in Livingston, Montana from 2006-2010. She developed a nutrition consulting business and gave numerous health lectures at the center, as well as through adult education programs. She also conducted several weekend workshops.

She moved back to her hometown in 2012 and started working in the vitamin department of a health food store in Phoenix, Arizona.

Her combined consulting and retail work have given her first-hand experience with hundreds of customers regarding the effectiveness of healthy eating as well as the benefits of natural supplements, including herbs, vitamins and minerals, and natural body care products.

She has also attended monthly lectures with some of the top natural health educators in the U.S.

Purpose of This Site

In 2010, Nancy started the Water Benefits Health website primarily to share her knowledge about the health benefits of proper hydration and the importance of water quality.

She studied the works of many water experts—the most notable authors include Dr. F. Batmanghelidj (Your Body’s Many Cries for Water) and Dr. Mu Shik Jhon (The Water Puzzle and the Hexagonal Key).

Nancy has researched numerous clinical studies and has tried just about every drinking water available, including tap water, well water, a wide array of bottled waters, reverse osmosis water, distilled water, alkaline water, and ionized water.

Granted, water is water.  But what she discovered is that not all drinking waters are equal. Some types of drinking water promote health and longevity, while other types of water can actually contribute to health issues with long-term consumption.

Since water quality is the highest priority, this led her to in-depth research and experimentation with various types of water filtration systems.

Thus, she has tried to simplify the options and provide just a few of her top recommendations for many types of water filters—from emergency water filters to drinking water filters to whole house water systems.

In her spare time, Nancy likes to golf, hike, practice yoga, meditate, read, and hang out by water!
