How to Raise pH Levels


Hi Nancy, Enagic kangen machine warranty is not lifetime and it's too expensive. If a product is very good, why do customers have to pay high interest rates to purchase it? Are there other ways where customers can raise the PH levels?


Drinking alkaline, ionized water is the quickest and easiest way to raise pH levels in the body, but I know it is an expensive investment and may not be the best choice for many people.

Eat More Alkaline Foods and Beverages

Another safe way to raise body pH is by eating more alkaline foods and less acidic foods.

Just search for “alkaline food chart” online and you will find several to choose from. Most important, avoid or at least reduce animal products (all meats and dairy), as well as sugar, processed food, alcohol and drugs.

In addition, even mild dehydration can create an acidic environment in the body. Thus, it is important to stay fully hydrated all the time.

Alkalizing Benefits of Lemon Water

If you do not want to change your diet or are unable to for any reason, you might want to consider adding lemon juice to your water once or twice a day. Lemons are one of the most alkalizing foods on any food chart, and drinking lemon water on a daily basis can offer many other health benefits.

Drinking lemon water alone will not neutralize a highly acidic diet and lifestyle, but it will definitely help, especially if one is trying to transition to a more alkalizing diet and lifestyle.

Also, drink filtered water (which is neutral pH because it contains natural occurring minerals in water) vs purified water (RO and distilled), which are in most cases acidic (unless the RO system has a re-mineralization cartridge add-on).

Alkalizing Drops, Powders and Other Supplements

I do not recommend most of the pH drops, powders and tablets that people are buying and using to try to increase body alkalinity.

The main ingredient of these products is usually either sodium hydroxide or sodium or potassium bicarbonate. These substances do not promote health and in many cases will increase pH levels artificially, which can cause imbalances in the body, such as bladder infections, and so forth.

However, there are a few products I would recommend that do promote overall health and can help to increase body alkalinity.

The first are liquid ionic minerals, such as Fulvic Ionic Minerals. Many people are deficient in trace minerals and these you can simply add to your filtered water.

Second are super green powders and liquids. There are a number of high-quality products and brands in this category, including E3Live, Garden of Life, Amazing Grass, MacroLife, Vibrant Health, Health Force Nutritionals, just to name a few.

The E3Live products are at the top of my recommendation list because of their nutrient dense, organic, blue-green algae (AFA).

Reduce Stress

The other major factor that contributes to the levels of acidity and inflammation in the body is stress. In fact, I believe it is about 50/50 the cause, along with an overly acidic diet.

Thus, it is important to look into ways to minimize stress on the body since it is essentially impossible to “avoid stress” in the world that we live in.
