Water Benefits Health News, Issue #11

October 1, 2012

Hello, Water Friend,

Cancer is so prevalent these days that I am sure everyone reading this has either had some type of cancer or knows someone amongst their family or friends who has had it.

This topic hits close to my home since three of my family members have died of cancer. Obviously, cancer is on the rise in the U.S. and throughout the world.

Rather than living in fear of this disease, we can educate ourselves about the causes of cancer and take gradual steps to improve our eating and lifestyle habits to boost immunity. Drinking enough water each day is one of these essential habits.

I encourage you to take a few minutes to read our feature article this month on “Dehydration and Cancer Formation.” I think you will find it interesting.

For example, did you know that lack of oxygen to the cells is one of the underlying causes of cancer? Well, guess what? Water is the primary transport of oxygen to the cells! Water is also the primary transport for the removal of toxins out of the cells and out of the body.

On another point, have you seen the news recently about the ongoing problem of cancer-causing chromium in drinking water? You can read this new article to find out if it is in your drinking water.

To your health and hydration,

Nancy Hearn, CNC

Apart from scientific validation, when we understand the importance of water in the human body and know the underlying causes of cancer, I believe common sense also tells us that the link between dehydration and cancer formation is real.
