Water Benefits Health News, Issue #76

November 10, 2020

Hello Water Friend,

Most everyone I know assumes that bottled water is better to drink than tap water. In many cases, this is true—but not always.

Unfortunately, what most people don’t know is that nearly half of all bottled water is just re-processed tap water.

Thus, our feature article this issue compares the advantages and disadvantages of “Bottled Water vs Tap Water.”

The bottom line is that while most bottled water and treated tap water are relative safe to drink, they are not healthy.

The cumulative effect of contaminants in both bottled and tap water may contribute over time to health issues.

The only way we can have any control over the quality of water we drink is by having our own home water filter system.

Investing in a home drinking water filter (countertop or under sink) is the most reliable and least expensive way to get healthy water.

The good news is that purchasing a device to filter water is relatively inexpensive compared to bottled water. And you can get the same easy convenience with filtering water bottles.
