Water Benefits Health News, Issue #29

December 16, 2014

Hello,,

The holiday season is a busy time for most of us, so I will keep this month’s issue short with a few reminders.

First, if you are feeling more stress than usual, be sure to drink more water! Dehydration can cause stress on the body, and stress causes further dehydration. It can be a vicious cycle.

There is no better way to oxygenate your cells and maintain optimal immunity than proper hydration—especially if you are partying more than usual!

Remember, adequate hydration means drinking half your body weight in ounces of clean, filtered, mineral-rich water on a daily basis.

If you are following our Healthy Eating Nutrition series, the fourth article in this series is "How to Avoid Holiday Weight Gain."

So, that’s it for this issue and I wish you and your family peace, prosperity and good health for the New Year!!

To your wellness,

Nancy Hearn, CNC

P.S. Aquasana is one of my favorite water filtration companies. If you want to invest in a new water filtration system for your home or office for the New Year, check out the great sales they are having this month.

What that means for most people is putting on an additional 5 to 10 pounds of fat—not a healthy way to start the New Year.

The good news is that it is possible to fully enjoy food throughout the holiday without gaining weight and without obsessing about calories.
